your home security company
It has come our attention (via one of our residents – thank you Jaye Raulerson ) that the original alarm company (Active Alarms) transferred some of their customers/accounts (Siena Oaks) to a different vendor (Safe Security a monitoring company in California) for home security monitoring. That in itself is not necessarily a bad thing; however, when their alarm went off recently they did not receive a phone call from the monitoring vendor, as is procedure. Through their diligence, they found that the new vendor (Safe Security did not receive the signal and did not have their account on file), however Safe Security did not have a problem cashing their monthly payments.
 
Board Recommendation:  If you are not aware if your monitoring station is doing their job, please take a moment to simply, test your home alarm system. You should receive a call back when the alarm goes off.  If not, follow up with them immediately. You should not be paying for a service that you are not receiving.

REMINDER: The Association appreciates the diligence of many homeowners in keeping our combined property values up by maintaining a clean, organized property. We now need everyone to please pay special attention to those areas that require a little extra effort: cleaning your roof, pressure cleaning the outside of your home, and maintaining the general appearance of its exterior.

ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTE MEETINGS are held the 2nd Monday of each month and all applications are due in the Thursday before or they will not be reviewed until the next month.  Board Meetings are held as posted on the signs.

SECURITY: The Association has obtained off duty police patrol from Palm Beach Gardens. They patrol Siena Oaks 3 times per week. Should you see any suspicious behavior please call them at 799-4445.

COMMITTEES AT WORK: These committees are responsible for the appearance of the community and are really responsible for maintaining property values.
Architectural Control Committee: They make sure that your structure is in keeping with the Siena Oaks HOA architectural guidelines that govern the look of the exterior of your home.
Covenants Control Committee: They are the watchdogs of the Association and make sure that residents are adhering to the rules set forth in the documents.

VEGETATION AROUND POST LIGHT: Please be advised that the Board of Directors has made a rule that the vegetation around your post light MUST be maintained at 6” below the cross bars. Any landscaping above that will be subject to our landscapers cutting it down to the proper height.

THE COMMUNITY: Siena Oaks is a lovely community and it appears that property values have risen. We would like to keep it that way and ask for your help by following all the rules of the community.

Just a reminder that you cannot have your vehicles parked over the sidewalk even if it is parked in your driveway. Also parking overnight on the street is not allowed. Violators are subject to being towed.
